The Claude Bourbonnais winter car control clinic is an indispensable tool for Quebec driver’s who must face harsh and variable conditions all winter long. Claude Bourbonnais’s car control clinic offers you different exercises to better prepare you for winter driving and driving in general.
This course allows you to better familiarize yourself with your own vehicle since this is the one you would need to control in the eventuality of an emergency situation.
PREVENTIVE DRIVING COURSE ACTIVITIES
The clinic lasts 4 hours and can vary with the number of attendees
- Welcome and registration (Attendees should be arriving 15 minutes before schedule)
- Explanation of course activities: 15 minutes
- Theory and proper driving body position: 15 minutes
- Exercise #1: Slalom: 60 minutes
- Exercise #2: Skid pad: 45 minutes
- Exercise #3: Accident avoiding and emergency braking exercise: 45 minutes
- Exercise #4: Skid control exercise (70-80 km/h): 60 minutes
WHY TAKE THIS COURSE
You can never be too prepared for the unexpected and especially because the”classic” course do not make you learn how to control a car in these situations.
